Take Courage
As you and your loved ones struggle with today’s realities do not forget the Lenten season we are in and the love that God has shown us in his Son, as succinctly stated in that verse so many of us learned as children
"For God so loved the world
that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
[John 3:16 (NIV)]
Therefore, in spite of what is happening in God’s world
and in our own lives
Let us rest in the comfort that
“He who did not spare his own Son,
but gave him up for us all—
how will he not also, along with him,
graciously give us all things?”
And because of this, in spite of whatever threats we face,
we know that
“in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us.
So, let us all trust and say
“I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
[Romans 8: 32, 37-39 (NIV)]
