Our Pastor: Ram AryalRam and his wife, Tara, are both initially from Kathmandu, Nepal. They received their faith in Christ in 1997/1998.
Ram served as a volunteer student and outreach minister for ten years, which led him to join Calvin Theological Seminary in Michigan. He ministered in Grand Rapids as a part-time turned full-time pastor of Thornapple's Nepali-speaking Community for five years, 2013-2018. He graduated from the Seminary in 2017 and continued his ministry to serve the Nepali-speaking Community for several years at Hanley Christian Reformed Church in Grandville, Michigan. In 2021, he accepted a full-time call from Maranatha Fellowship CRC to serve as their senior pastor. Ram had sensed a call to serve for the first time in 2005 while sitting in worship services doing fellowship and ministries, listening to pastors and teachers in the church. Members of the faith community can relate to him since he understands their challenges and needs. Besides being a gifted minister of the Word, Pastor Ram is a loving husband, father, and disciple, always seeking opportunities for his community to grow together in Christian fellowship. In addition to sharing the grace of God in Christ through words and deeds, he is passionate about loving God, neighbors, and each other. All are welcome in Maranatha Fellowship! |
