Maranatha is an Aramaic word that can be found in the last chapter of the book of Revelations. It means “Come Lord Jesus”. Our church is named Maranatha because we believe that “church” is all about the Presence of Christ in the lives of believers, and our desire is for Him to come into our lives, into our families and into the community around us to bring transformation and blessing.

We see our Sunday worship service as an act of gathering around Jesus Christ to worship Him, to hear from Him, and to interact with Him through His Holy Spirit.

To abide in Jesus Christ, to function as His body, and to fill our world with His Presence.
We believe that together with the universal Church around the world, we are the body of Christ and the physical manifestation of His Presence in the world.
